The NCC in India was formed with National Cadets Cops act of 1948. It came in to existence on July 15, 1948.
In our college NCC has three wings NCC Army Wing, NCC Air Wing and NCC Naval Wing.
The main motive of NCC is to develop good qualities like character, discipline, patriotism, secularism, selfless service, courage,comradeship, hard work attitude, sportsman spirit etc. among youth to mould them in to useful citizen.
It also aims at to create a pool of human youth to absorb in to Indian Armed Force like Army, Naval, Air Force and other paramilitary forces.
